A little history:

The therapeutic effects of massage on adults have been known for a long time, but only in recent years, in the West have people realised that children can benefit from massage as well. In parts of Africa, Asia, and south and central America, women have massaged their babies for centuries.

The teaching of infant massage is part of the Ayurvedic medicine system. Ayurveda originated in ancient India and formed the foundation for many alternative treatments used today.

Baby massage is now widely recognised as an ancient art and practised that bonds and connects the baby and massager.
